In the full renovation of this villa, we brought lighting, climate, shading, indoor and outdoor audio, video surveillance, access control and Wi‑Fi together in a single Control4 system.

Alpine chalet
The old timber, untouched.
In this chalet in Zermatt, the entire house runs on KNX: lighting, climate, underfloor heating, shading and roof windows. The brushed-metal controls rest on the aged timber without taking away its character.

Lighting
Light worthy of the plasterwork.
In a period apartment with ornate plaster ceilings and original joinery, all of the lighting was conceived around sculptural pieces by Terzani. The light brings out the heritage of the home and becomes part of the décor itself.

In this office, lighting and shading are controlled by ATIOS SmartCore. The same project brings together background music, networking and Wi‑Fi, intrusion alarm, video surveillance and fire detection.

Electrical safety inspections and SiNa certificates.
Periodic inspections and inspections on change of ownership, in line with Swiss federal regulations, for owners, property managers and estate agencies.

- On a change of ownership, the safety certificate may be no more than five years old. We schedule the inspection so that it is ready before the notarial deed.
- Periodic inspection
- Residential buildings are inspected every twenty years; other buildings more frequently. We handle the reply to the grid operator’s notice.
- Process
- Online booking, on-site inspection and digital delivery of the measurement report and certificate.
- Region
- Zermatt, Täsch, Visp, Brig and Upper Valais, during monthly inspection weeks.
Founder
Swiss precision, based in Braga.
SARAIVA was founded by Tiago Saraiva. He grew up in Zermatt, where he trained and worked as a project manager on residences and chalets across the region before returning to Portugal. From that school he brought an exacting standard for documentation, deadlines and finish.
He oversees every project personally, from the first sketch to ongoing care, with a select network of trusted partners. The atelier works in Portuguese, English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
